In Season 3, Episode 6 (around the 30-minute mark), Belly Conklin receives one of my personalized notecard sets as an engagement gift. She has the sweetest reaction to seeing her new last name printed across the top — and that notecard set just happened to be mine.
The best part? I had no idea this was going to happen.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Stationery Cameo
A few months ago, I received an order through my Etsy shop from a customer with the instructions to print the name Isabel Fisher on the notecards. I packaged it up and fulfilled it just like any other order. At the time, I had heard of The Summer I Turned Pretty, but I’d never actually watched the show, so the name didn’t click.
It wasn’t until a friend texted me after watching the new episode that I realized what had happened: my notecards had made their TV debut! To make it even more special, it was the very same design I had recently created for that friend as a housewarming gift — a blue scallop wave set that has always been one of my favorites.
Of course, as soon as I heard the news, I had to sit down and watch. And now? I’m officially a fan… and officially Team Conrad (don’t come for me, Jeremiah fans!).

I started Soirée All Day in 2020, during the height of the pandemic. At the time, I had just been laid off from my job and was caring for my infant daughter at home. Life felt so digital and distant, and I wanted to create something that sparked more joy and connection.
For me, beautifully designed stationery was the perfect way to do that. A handwritten note is so much more personal than a text message — and really, who doesn’t love receiving real mail? Since then, I’ve grown my business to include invitations, personalized gift tags, notepads, and more, all created to bring back that human touch in everyday life.

Like many small creative business owners, there are days when it’s easy to feel discouraged. But this unexpected feature on The Summer I Turned Pretty was such a joyful reminder of why I do what I do.
